As the holidays are approaching, it’s time to start rethinking your makeup look. While we love a good summer bronze, the fall and winter are really great for a softer contour and brighter blush. Step One

After applying foundation and concealer, lightly dip the tip of the M04 into some powder contour a shade or two darker than your skin tone. Sweep the brush into the hollows of your cheeks, concentrating more product towards the outer edges of your face. This is just to lightly define your features and help lift your cheeks.

Step Two

Wipe excess contour off of the brush using a tissue, then sweep into a subtle highlight or ambient lighting powder. Apply this on your cheeks where you normally would apply blush. Save the dramatic highlight for a little later – this shimmery layer is to enhance the glow of your blush.

Step Three

Finally, apply blush on top of the shimmer layer (no need to wipe off excess this time), making sure to blend where the blush and shimmer meet the contour. Want to try something a little more adventurous? Pick up an orange or berry toned blush instead of the usual pink or red!
