How do I recycle my used makeup brushes?
It all starts with you! Fill out our electronic form, as we guide you through the preparation process for recycling your makeup brushes. Then we’ll send you an email with a confirmation code and instructions where to send your package.
Acceptable waste
We’re currently accepting makeup brushes of all brands.
What happens after I send my brushes?
Once we fill a Zero Waste Box, we send everything to TerraCycle® to be processed. Brushes are then sorted by TerraCycle® and the materials are separated. Depending on material, components are repurposed into new products or recycled responsibly.
Do I have to be a MŌDA® customer to participate?
Not at all! Anyone can participate and help keep brushes out of landfills.
What types of brushes can I recycle?
Our Renew & Recycle program is powered by TerraCycle® Zero Waste Boxes making it easy to recycle used makeup brushes. We accept makeup brushes of all brands, including face and eye brushes. Brush handles, ferrules and bristles are all accepted.
Do I get a reward for recycling?
Yes! After we receive your package with the eligible items, you’ll receive 30% off your next purchase as a thank you for helping us create a more sustainable beauty routine.
How long does it take?
Once we receive your package it can take up to 2 weeks for it to be processed and counted towards our impact.
